The 2016 edition (June 2-8) strikes a satisfying balance between emerging talents and esteemed veterans. The 16-film festival features seven North American premieres and a 40th-anniversary screening of Cannes Best Director winner Ettore Scola’s Ugly, Dirty and Bad in a new restoration.
