The four Italian scientists, experts on environment and new technologies, held a seminar in the building's auditorium to speak about environmental sustainability and renewable energy. On March 31, the Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimo` hosted a performance of "Arlecchino Malato d'Amore", or "Arlecchino Lovesick", performed by the Cortesi family (La Compagnia I Burratini Cortesi) of Bergamo, Italy. This performance was done in a commedia dell'arte style, with characters such as Pantalone, Arlecchino and Gioppino all interacting in one maniacal plot with Venice as the setting

On March 18 Casa Italiana Zarilli Marimò opened an exhibit of Matteo Montani’s paintings, an innovative Italian painter whose inspired works are finally on view in New York. The majority of his oil paintings incorporate the mixing together of shades of blue, white, black and grey, with a few exceptions, such as the “explosion” of red in the painting titled “Autumn Tale”.
